Everyone keeps saying how this one was so much better than the first one. It was really good; hit all the right notes; etc.
I guess I just liked the narrative sweep of the first one better. Felt more classical.

He totally got it. It's because I saw the first one first. It just didn't have the same impact.
Because the first one had the movie magic. (I think I might be immune to that now. I hope not. Oh, film studies.)
